Hi, I’m Tracy — a communicator who learns by doing and shares what I’m figuring out along the way. My path has moved from newsroom deadlines to frontline healthcare, through small business digital work, to my current role in hospital communications. I focus on the kind of learning that fits into real life — short courses, tools worth trying, and small systems that make work smoother. I write about modern communication, clarity in complex environments, and the honest middle stretch of a career, where experience and curiosity meet.

How I Think About Work
I think about work as an evolving contract — the quiet, often unspoken agreement between what a role asks of you and what you’re actually doing. Most communicators feel the strain of that gap long before they have language for it.
